Job Description

UX Designer

Love UX? Mobile UX? How about Omni-channel UX? I mean really love it? Same here. Our goal is simple; provide our users with extremely useful, engaging and simple experiences that will not only redefine retail Omni-channel user experience, but user experience, as we know it. We don' t want to simply keep pace with the competition; we want to blow them out of the water. We will do this through a relentless focus on our users by whatever means necessary and a passion for meeting their needs on any device, at any time, whenever they choose, wherever they choose. We will deliver the right content and the right experience and most importantly - in the right context.

Role Overview (aka Your Philosophy):

You believe most of the world’ s problems could be solved through innovative and useful experience design; and you want to solve them. You can size up an experience in a heartbeat and within seconds point out usability defects that, if corrected with your impeccable recommendations, would improve the experience tenfold. You thrive on taking complex experience design challenges and turning them into extremely simple and useful works of art that you would hang on your wall, if you could. You start your day thinking about your user’ s motivations, behaviors and habits and how the experiences you create will not only engage them, but make their lives that much more enjoyable to live. Lastly, you truly believe in and thrive in an innovative team-oriented atmosphere.

  • Support the execution and analysis of user research activities ensuring the results successfully evolve the experience design and are clearly communicated to project stakeholders and executives
  • Ensure all experience design decisions take into consideration our key user types, their respective needs, context of use and current design patterns
  • Ability to clearly articulate your experience design deliverables and decision-making process to other team members, business partners and executives
  • Constantly scan the UX horizon for innovative experiences that continue to push the envelope and blur the lines between in-store and digital shopping experiences
  • Work directly with product and project managers to effectively communicate project issues and risks while ensuring the user experience integrity is held through project delivery
