The lead user-experience designer is responsible for performing user research and translating them into product designs. The Lead UX Designer will lead product design activities, managing design iterations by working with UX researchers and analysts and other UX designers.

Skills :
  • Expertise in UX software such as InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Moqup, Framer.js, Quartz Composer, and others
  • Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
  • Ability to solve problems while considering timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing product needs
  • Ability to perform user research and analysis
  • Ability to perform workflow research and analysis and define future state user journeys
  • Ability to analyze and define navigation flows and data layouts
  • Ability to define an information architecture
  • Ability to define user mindset and persona specifications
  • Ability to develop usability test plans, tests and facilitate usability testing sessions
  • Possess a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration and inter-team skills- ability to listen and consider input from team members

Duties :
  • Perform user research and analysis
  • Lead design teams following a user-centered design approach through rapid tests and design iterations
  • Understand what users need, develop software specifications for the design and development teams, and test solutions to be simple and intuitive, while addressing users’ full experience from start to finish
  • Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences
  • Design and develop user journeys, mockups and wireframes optimized for mobile and other system platforms
  • Provide specifications via user stories and acceptance criteria for product features to be developed by feature development teams
  • Support product testing, including usability and acceptance testing
  • Perform usability testing to empirically evaluate efficacy of specific designs, using techniques such as A/B Test and Multivariate Testing
  • Participate in product discussions with the product owner, users, the UX team and the development team to understand and refine acceptance criteria and estimate user stories
  • Work in an agile environment, delivering incremental product functionality in short iterations

Qualifications :
  • 5+ years of UX design experience
  • Experience with lean UX research, product design and development
  • Experience working with users, product owners, design and development teams
  • Experience with developing product software specifications
  • Passion for managing and exceeding customer expectations
  • Experience with InVision and Zeplin
